DISCIPLESHIP AT HOLLY RIDGE
At Holly Ridge, we believe that a disciple of Jesus will desire to Worship God with other believers. Knowing that the Bible is our guide, we, therefore, glorify and worship Jesus as we focus on the good news of all that He has done for us.
We have three priorities for our worship services:
- Being a singing people who appreciate old and new, historic and current expressions of hymns and praise
- Fostering humility in our relationships to those with other musical preferences
- Filling the services with Scripture by reading, singing, praying, and preaching the Bible
At Holly Ridge, we believe that a disciple of Jesus seeks to grow in their knowledge and understanding of all that God has for them as revealed in Scripture. That is why we offer various core classes that meet at 9:15 on Sunday mornings. These classes are divided into four areas: Biblical, Theological, Missional, and Practical. We also offer classes for Senior Adults and a 3-week membership class for those wishing to join Holly Ridge.
At Holly Ridge, we believe that a disciple of Jesus will seek to put their spiritual giftings into use. We have opportunities to volunteer here at the church , through service projects in our communities, through outreach events and partnerships with various other ministries in the Greenville area , and through mission trips.
SMALL GROUPS
At Holly Ridge, we believe that a disciple of Jesus is one who does not travel alone on this journey of faith, but seeks out other believers to walk with. Our stage-of-life small groups meet together for community, prayer, accountability, and application. These meeting places are in the homes of members and are scattered across the Five Forks/Simpsonville area. We meet together every 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th Wednesdays of the month.
